How does the process work for fingerprint jewelry?

Answer: The process is simple and is done in a few steps:

  • You place your order on the site and choose the desired model (ring, pendant, etc.).
  • We send you an impression kit with everything you need to create the mold (special wax, 3 molds, instructions and, if necessary, a ring gauge).
  • After you have made the impression, send the kit back to us using EasyBox with cash on delivery , and the return cost is covered by us.
  • We transform the mold into a personalized piece of jewelry, cast and hand-finished in silver or gold.
  • The final piece of jewelry is delivered within 3–4 weeks of receiving the mold.

What does the fingerprint collection package (kit) contain?

Answer: The kit includes:

  • 3 wax mold designs (depending on the chosen model – oval, strip, heart, etc.)
  • Special wax for taking impressions
  • Clear step-by-step instructions
  • Ring gauge (where necessary)

The cost of shipping the kit to you and returning it to us is fully covered by Maier Jewelry . You just need to send the kit back using EasyBox with cash on delivery, at no cost to you.

What metals are your jewelry made of?

Answer: All our jewelry is handmade from 925 silver or 9K, 14K and 18K gold . We no longer use stainless steel.

Do we also work in white gold or only in yellow gold?

Answer: Yes, we can make most of the models in white gold , not just yellow gold. If you want a piece of jewelry in a different type of gold than the one listed on the site, write to us at contactmaierjewelry@gmail.com and we will offer you a personalized price.

How can I find out the price of a piece of jewelry in a metal other than the one displayed?

Answer: If you want a piece in a different type of gold or in a different thickness/size, please contact us via the contact form or at contactmaierjewelry@gmail.com , and we will send you a price quote.

What happens if my fingerprint doesn't come out the first time?

Answer: Each kit includes 3 molds just to allow you to practice and choose the best impression. If you need help, we will send you a video or additional instructions.

What happens if I lose or don't send back the fingerprint kit?

Answer: If you have lost the kit or forgot to send it back, please write to us at contactmaierjewelry@gmail.com . We can send you a new kit, but the cost of it and shipping will be borne by the customer. Until the mold is received, the production process cannot begin, which will extend the total time of making the jewelry.

Can I order the chain together with the pendant?

Answer: The imprint kits only include the final pendant. The chain can be purchased separately from the "Chains" category on the website or we can create a recommendation based on the model.

Can I pay in installments?

Answer: Yes, there are installment payment options, depending on the payment method chosen at checkout. All Maier Jewelry must be paid in full before the creation process begins, as each piece is custom made to order. We do not offer cash on delivery.

Do you have a showroom or workshop where I can see the products?

Answer: Currently, Maier Jewelry operates exclusively online. The pieces are hand-crafted in our workshop and shipped directly to you.

What happens if I get the wrong ring size?

Answer: Depending on the model, we can adjust the size or create a new ring. For cast jewelry (especially fingerprints), adjustment may involve additional costs. Write to us and we will offer you the best solution.

Can I order a piece of jewelry without a stone if the model on the site has a stone?

Answer: In many cases, yes – we can adapt the design. Write to us with the desired model and we can customize it according to your preferences.

Is the jewelry available in stock or is it made to order?

Answer: Each piece is made exclusively to order , especially for you. Production begins immediately after order confirmation.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Answer: Production time is approximately 3–4 weeks , plus shipping time. You will receive a notification email when your package is shipped.

What is the cost of transportation?

Answer: The shipping cost is 20 lei for orders in Romania. The exact fees appear at checkout when completing the order.

Do you also deliver internationally?

Answer: Yes, we also ship internationally. For details regarding international shipping, please contact us at contactmaierjewelry@gmail.com and we will provide you with the necessary information about costs and options.

Can I return a product if I don't like it?

Answer: Because all our pieces are made to order and personalized, we do not accept standard returns , according to GEO 34/2014, art. 16 letter c. We accept returns only in case of manufacturing defect or delivery error, reported within the deadline.

What do I do if I received a defective or wrong product?

If your product is defective or does not match your order, please complete the Return Form available in the footer of the website or write to us at contactmaierjewelry@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving the package. Please attach clear photos of the product and packaging so that we can assess the situation.

How do I choose the correct ring size?

Answer: In the description of each product you will find a size guide. If you have any questions, write to us and we will be happy to help you choose the right size.

What does my package contain?

Answer: Each Maier Jewelry package contains your jewelry, the warranty certificate , the special maintenance cloth and the presentation packaging. All pieces are marked according to ANPC regulations and shipped safely. If you ordered a fingerprint mold kit, you will also receive the necessary materials for taking the fingerprint.

What guarantee does Maier Jewelry offer?

Answer: Our jewelry comes with a warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper handling, or damage resulting from exposure to incompatible substances (perfume, chemicals, etc.).

How do I properly care for my jewelry?

To preserve its appearance, avoid contact with salt water, perfumes or other chemicals and store the jewelry in a dry place. Use the special cloth received in the package for periodic cleaning.
