At The Maier SRL, we are committed to delivering our customers’ orders quickly and securely. This shipping policy complies with applicable Romanian legislation, including Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 on consumer rights in contracts with professionals.

1. Delivery Timeframes

• Stainless steel products: Delivery takes 1-4 business days from order confirmation.

• Silver products: Delivery takes up to 15 business days, as these pieces require additional production and finishing time.

• For mixed orders (stainless steel and silver products), the delivery will follow the longest timeframe, unless the customer requests two separate shipments, each with its own shipping costs.

2. Shipping Costs

• Domestic shipping (Romania): The shipping fee is 19 lei.

• Free shipping: Available for orders over 400 lei.

• International shipping: Available only for European Union countries, with a 12-euro shipping fee.

• Custom duties & import taxes: Any additional fees imposed by the destination country are the customer’s responsibility.

• If a package is refused by the customer without a valid reason, shipping costs will not be refunded, and the customer may bear the cost of return shipping.

3. Shipping Methods

• We ship through our logistics partner Ecolet, with most parcels handled by DPD.

• Customers will receive a tracking number (AWB) via email or SMS to monitor their shipment in real-time.

4. Delays and Exceptional Situations

• During peak periods (e.g., Black Friday, holidays), the delivery timeframe may be extended. We will make every effort to inform customers of any delays in a timely manner.

• Unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, courier logistics issues) may cause delivery delays. In such cases, customers will be notified.

• If an order does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at contactmaierjewelry@gmail.com to check the delivery status.

5. International Shipping

• We offer international shipping only to European Union countries.

• The shipping cost for international orders is 12 euros.

• The estimated delivery time depends on the destination country and potential customs delays.

• Any customs duties or additional charges imposed by local authorities are the customer’s responsibility.

• A tracking number (AWB) will be provided so customers can monitor their order’s status.

6. Remote or Hard-to-Reach Areas

For deliveries to remote or hard-to-reach areas, the delivery timeframe may be extended by 1-2 additional business days. Customers will be informed if their delivery falls into this category.

7. Undelivered or Lost Shipments

• If a package is marked as “delivered” by the courier but the customer has not received it, they must contact the courier directly for clarification.

• If the courier loses the package, we will initiate an investigation, and upon confirmation of loss, the customer may choose a replacement shipment or a full refund.

8. Address Changes

• If you need to change the shipping address after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once the order has been shipped, address changes are no longer possible.
